I was recently asked to give a short lecture and demo about the history and execution of the makeup and wig design for the Notre Dame Department of Film, Television, and Theatre's production of The Great Gatsby. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing some period hair-styling techniques, some quirky makeup history, and the methodologies behind designing an iconic show. I was also assisted by the delightful Teagan Early our very own Daisy, as my wiling model. Thanks so much to the Henkles Grant and the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame for bringing me to campus!
